been made for McCoy to drive the primary car for the

CBD Supporting
Fastrak Tire Testing |
|
North Augusta, SC - Team CBD has been helping out the
Fastrak crate late model series during this past off
season with tire testing. CBD has been a long supporter
or Fastrak sanctioning and crate late model racing, and
this season the series is making a change in the rubber
department from Goodyear to Hoosier. CBD has been on the
road to two different locations with long time friend
and driver David Smith of Inman, SC. Test #1 was at
Modoc Speedway in early December and Test #2 was
Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC. CBD hopes the
contribution of time and effort to the tire research for
the best compound for Fastrak racing this season pays
off. CBD would like to thank Fastrak for the effort in
making sure the crate late models are on the best rubber
possible for the 2010 racing season. |

Jonathan
Davenport nails top five finish in Ice Bowl for CBD |
|
Eastaboga, AL - Team CBD made the long trip across
the state of Georgia from the shop in North Augusta, SC
to Talladega Short Track to open the 2010 racing season
in the 19th annual Ice Bowl. CBD fielded two cars both
to be wheeled by Georgia driving specialist Jonathan
Davenport. One car would run in the crate late model
class and one would be in the limited late model class,
however both cars sported 604 crate motors. In the crate
feature Davenport earned a 9th place starting position
however bad luck struck earlier in the event. When the
green flag feel contact was made in turn one with a car
owned by Red Farmer and cut a left rear tire down. No
courtesy laps were given for time to change the flat,
forcing Davenport to fall behind and retire from the
crate feature early. However in the limited feature,
Davenport showed way they call him " Super-Man ".
Jonathan started 18th in the field of 24th, and when the
green flag fell the tall dark haired Georgia boy went to
work. Davenport wheeled the Barry Wright Chassis to a
third place finish when checkers fell. |

Special Sit In
for Faircloth in the Trull Motorsports Machine Gives Top
Five Finish |
|
Swainsboro,
GA - Jeremy Faircloth a long time friend and fellow
competitor to the Trull Motorsports Team merged with
Team owners George and Chris Trull for a one race
special deal at Faircloth's home track of Swainsboro
Raceway for the 9th annual Turkey 100 crate late model
event paying $5,000 to win. Faircloth wheeled the white
#14 Barry Wright Chassis styling a new wrap and design
for the year ending event. With 39 cars on hand Jeremy
knocked out the 8th fastest time in qualifying putting
him outside front row for heat race number four on
Friday night November 27th. When the green flag flew
after a few restart attempts Faircloth wheeled around
Augusta native Wendell Chavous to take the win in heat
race number four. This put Jeremy starting fourth in the
40 lap main event Saturday night. With rough track
conditions and many hungry drivers throughout the field,
Faircloth plaid the patience card and hung to bring home
a 3rd place finish in the end. This event wraps up the
2009 campaign for Trull Motorsports, check back here to
the official news source for Trull Motorsports and CBD
Racing to find all the exciting information on the
